Number Two:
Looking, Seeing, Being

I’m not looking for someone to complete me—
Just to complement me
(That’s complement with an “e”).
Don’t need flattery,
Just sincerity.
I want someone who can stand alone
But prefers to stand with me.
One who can get dirty,
But not because he’s flirty.
Is cool because he isn’t too cool for anyone,
And oh, baby, he’s hot—
Because he exercises his Priesthood,
Not because of what he’s bought.
Impressive without trying to impress;
He enjoys life’s simple joys with me
And for him, I am complementary.
I will be flexible
But not settle.

So I want to be his number two
Because God is our number one.
